Play: When your furry friends are in their day runs we will often play fetch or tug, it all depends on what the dog likes.

What to bring..

However we understand wanting to bring your own items. You can bring..
Personal Items: 1 bed and 1 toy per dog.
Food: Dogs are fed kibble and fresh chicken mince daily. If your dog has specific dietary needs:
Cold wet food must be portioned into sandwich bags labeled with your dog's name.
Packaged wet food or kibble must be stored in an airtight, rodent-proof container. Please label the container with your dog's name and food portion details.
Medication: Clearly label your dog's name, medication dosage, and instructions. You’ll need to complete a medication authorization form in the office.

What if my dog doesn't like other dogs?
At Hilltops k9 services, we have extensive experience handling dogs with various temperaments, including those who prefer their own space. We offer isolated runs that are designed to keep your dog comfortable and stress-free. These runs are positioned to minimize interaction and prevent visual contact with other dogs, ensuring a peaceful environment for your furry friend. Your dog’s happiness and well-being are always our top priorities!
What if my dog is unsure of humans?
At Hilltops k9 services, we have extensive experience caring for dogs that may be cautious or unsure around new people. Our team uses a gentle, patient approach to help your dog feel secure and at ease. We allow plenty of time for them to adjust and ensure their stay is stress-free.
Can my dogs stay together?
Yes! We offer family suites for dogs, when booking put into your notes you would like your animals together and we will give you a call to go over our options.
What exercise does my dog get?
Dogs get let out for long periods twice a day. Our team will play tug ,fetch or paddock walk with your dog throughout these periods.
Will my dog play with other dogs?
Only with permission from owners, generally we do not let dogs play together.
Will my dog get a bath on departure?
If you would like your dog to have a bath upon departure, When booking add bath under “Extras”.
Do you have a minimum stay?
Yes we require a minimum stay of 2 nights.
